A ten day 750 mile tour of Costa Rica by bus with a guide, a driver and 35 strangers.
Fortunately, they were all thinking adults and remarkably easy travel companions.

First the bus.  If you must travel by bus, this is the way to go.

50 Comfy seats, a bathroom, large windows, a powerful Saab motor and an expert driver.
Juan Carlos drove this sucker on narrow, dusty, sometimes muddy roads that would put a Jeep
to the test.  Every morning it was spotless. He has been the only driver since the bus was delivered
two years ago. In addition to the unique graphics on the sides, Juan Carlos personalized
it with the quintessential truck/bus driver license plate holder.
